BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE Remove any packaging material from the kettle. Before connecting to a power source, make sure your mains supply voltage is the same as the one indicated on the bottom label of this appliance. Remove and rinse the filter before use. -Q- HOWTO USE - With the kettle switched off ("O" position), plug the cord of the base unit into a suitable power outlet. Remove the kettle from the base unit before filling. Open the lid by pressing release catches located on each side of central rib on lid and fill through the top, observing the maximum level indicator marked on window to prevent overfilling. Be sure to close the lid to ensure proper operation. Fill the kettle with no less than the minimum amount (0.5 litres approximately) and no more than the maximum level mark allows (1.7 litres). To ensure kettle is not overfilled always check indictor with kettle on a flat level surface.
