8 OPERATING THE WORKLIGHT CHARGING BATTERY PACK CHARGING BATTERY PACK CHARGE BATTERY PACK: 1. Plug the charger into the nearest 120 volt electrical outlet. 2. Make sure the trigger on the Cordless Worklight is in the “OFF” position and remove the battery pack from the Worklight. 3. Insert the battery pack into the charger. Be sure that the battery pack is fully seated in the charger. Do not force. 4. The red indicator light should come “ON” indicating that the battery pack is in a “Fast Charge” mode. If the green indicator light comes “ON” , then the battery is already fully charged. 5. After approximately one hour of charging, the red indicator light should go “OFF” and the green light should come “ON” indicating that the battery is fully charged and the charger is now in a “Trickle Charge” mode. 6. The battery can be left in a “Trickle Charge” mode until ready to use. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RECHARGING HOT BATTERIES When using your Worklight continuously, the batteries in your battery pack will become hot. You should let a hot battery pack cool down for approximately 30 minutes before attempting to recharge. BATTERY PACK LED LIGHT BATTERY CHARGER This will occur when continuous use of your causes the battery pack to become hot. Never change a hot light bulb. Bulb must be cool to the touch before attempting to remove or replace it. OPERATING THE ON / OFF SWITCH Press the “ON/OFF” switch to turn the worklight “ON” and “OFF” . ADJUSTING THE WORKLIGHT BEAM Hold the handle of the Worklight securely in one hand. With the other hand, swivel the head of the Worklight counter-clockwise until it is at the angle you desire. Swivel the head of the Worklight clockwise to return it to its original position. UP DOWN REPLACING THE LIGHT BULB This Worklight uses a Krypton 18V, 0.3A light bulb. Bulb must replace it. 10 For your convenience, a spare light bulb is included inside the unit. Unscrew the rim and carefully remove it from the light assembly. 1. Remove the battery pack from the REPLACEMENT Worklight. 2. Hold the top of the Worklight with one hand while twisting the rim in a counter-clockwise direction with the other. Continue turning until the rim comes loose. 3. Remove the bulb by turning it slightly and pulling it out of the bulb fitting. Be careful not to damage the delicate parts inside the case. 4. Insert the new bulb, then carefully put the rim back in place and turn it clockwise to tighten it. BULB MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Always remove the battery pack before attempting cleaning or maintenance. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the tool. Never let any liquid get inside the casing. Never immerse any part of the tool in a liquid. ventilation openings clear. Always clean the battery pack using only a dry cloth. Do not use liquids. ACCESSORIES Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous when used on another tool. Always attach grounded (3-prong) extension cords to grounded (3-hole) outlets. If you must use an extension cord, be sure that the gauge is large enough to carry the amount of current necessary for your power tool. If not, your tool may experience a loss of power, excessive voltage drop or overheating. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord (see table below).
