— Toggling with the “+/–” buttons gives the option START DESCALE? NO. If you press “ENTER” when the display shows START DESCALE? NO, the display returns to the previous menu, showing DESCALE under the SETTINGS menu. 4. Press “ENTER” to begin descaling. — The display will show EXPOSURE PHASE on the first line and 10:00 on the second line, and the countdown to 0:00 begins. At this point DESCALE PHASE is displayed, and with a time of 20 minutes. At the end of the descaling phase, the countdown is suspended and a beep will sound. The display will show CLEAN DISH, FILL TANK on the first line and AND WIPE OUT OVEN on the second line. First Rinse (cycle 2) 5. Remove the water tank and wash it out thoroughly, fill it with water and slide it back in. 6. Using the cleaning sponge provided with your oven (or a comparable soft cloth or sponge), wipe any water out of the evaporator dish and wipe out the oven. Thoroughly wash out the cleaning sponge. 7. The display will now show PRESS ENTER BUTTON. Press “ENTER” to start the first rinse cycle. — The display will show 1ST RINSE on the first line. The countdown will resume. 8. After 20 seconds, a beep will signal the end of the first rinsing cycle. The display will show CLEAN DISH on the first line and PRESS ENTER BUTTON on the second line. 9. Using the cleaning sponge, wipe any water out of the evaporator dish. Second Rinse (cycle 3) 10. Press “ENTER” to start the second rinse cycle. — The display will show 2ND RINSE on the first line. The countdown will resume again. 11. After 20 seconds, a beep will signal the end of DESCALE. The display will show DESCALE FINISHED on the first line and CLEAN DISH on the second line. 12. Using the cleaning sponge, wipe any water out of the evaporator dish and wipe out the oven. Thoroughly rinse out the cleaning sponge. 13. Using a soft cloth, dry the oven cavity. English 32 Rack Cleaning Removing racks 1. Carefully press the front of the rack up until it unhinges and release it sideways from the bracket (image A). 2. Unhinge the rack from the bracket and remove it (image B). .. .. 3. Clean racks with dish detergent and dish sponge/brush or clean racks in the dish washer. Reinserting racks 1. Insert the rack with the indentations facing up. The racks each only fit on one side. 2. Hook rack in back and push it back until it engages (image C). 3. Hook rack on the front bracket and press down until it engages and is horizontally secured in the appliance (image D). .... Locate the two prongs in the ceramic holder, gently poking until the two prongs locate in the ceramic socket. 5. Ensure the seals and tension ring are on the glass cover. Screw the glass cover on. 6. Reconnect the appliance to power. Never operate the appliance without the glass cover or seals. English 33 Service Troubleshooting If you encounter a problem, it often will merely be something minor.
