1. Turn the right-hand knob clockwise until the desired cooking time is shown in the display window and is level with the mark on the face of the timer. 2. Select the appropriate method of heating and set the required temperature. . The oven is now operating. . Alterations can be made at any time. . After the pre-set cooking time has elapsed, an alarm signal sounds and the oven is automatically switched OFF. The signal itself is switched OFF automatically after 3 minutes. . To switch the alarm signal OFF within this period, turn the rotary knob clockwise until 0 is showing in the display window. 3. Turn the function selector switch and the temperature selector to 0. 4. Turn the rotary knob clockwise until the 9 symbol is showing in the display window. Example: 90 minutes Timer Automatic ON and OFF: . Set the start time first of all and then the length of cooking time. . The time at which cooking should start can be pre-set up to 12 hours in advance. . The length of cooking time can be pre-set for a maximum of 3 hours (180 minutes). 1. Turn the right-hand rotary knob until 0 is showing in the display window. 2. Pull the right-hand rotary knob outwards and turn it until the red pointer is set to the time at which you want cooking to start. Then release the knob again. 3. Turn the right-hand knob clockwise until the desired length of cooking time is shown in the display window and is level with the mark on the face of the timer. 4. Select the appropriate method of heating and set the required temperature. . The oven cooling fan starts up immediately. . The oven will be automatically switched ON at the pre-set time. . When the pre-set cooking time has elapsed, an alarm signal sounds and the oven is automatically switched OFF. The signal itself is switched OFF automatically after 3 minutes. . To switch the alarm signal OFF within this period, turn the rotary knob clockwise until 0 is showing in the display window. 5. Turn the function selector switch and the temperature selector to 0. 6. Turn the rotary knob clockwise until the 9 symbol is showing in the display window. Example: Start of cooking time set to 12.00 hrs 0 Example: Length of cooking time set to 90 minutes Definition of Oven Features Mini oven Conventional cooking e —————— (top and bottom heat) The food being cooked is exposed to heat from heating elements located at the top and bottom of the oven cavity. Cooking is possible on one shelf level only. Advantages: –Baking of cake with moist filling, pizza, quiche Radiant grill Z ——————————— The food being cooked is exposed to heat from the grill element at the top of the oven cavity. Advantages: – particularly suitable for flat, small cuts of meat, i.e., steaks and sausages, fish, vegetables and toast. Main oven Circotherm Circotherm grilling A system by which foods, that would normally be grilled by direct heat from an element, are cooked using Cirotherm. Temperatures between 180 to 190 °C are selected and the food is placed on the wire shelf, roasting on the roasting/grill pan. Advantages: – low soiling of oven interior – cooking on up to 3 shelf levels at once is possible – shorter preheating times – low oven temperatures – gentle defrosting k –bread baking Advantages: – ideal for steaks, sausages, chicken joints, fish, kebabs and chops – no turning of food is required –three shelves of ‘grilled’ food can be prepared at one time – very convenient Switching the Oven ON and OFF Mini oven Before switching on your oven, you should decide which heating system you wish to use. Switching the oven ON: 1. Use the function selector to determine the desired system. 2. Set the temperature control knob to the desired temperature. . The selected temperature will be controlled automatically. . The red oven temperature control lamp illuminates when the oven is first switched on, and extinguishes when the required temperature has been reached.
