You can program up to 20 selections into the memory. The programming display appears. Enter the number in the order wish to playback, then press ENTER. Pressing the ENTER button causes the highlight to move to the next item. Pressing will allow you to access the next programming display. Select “Start” using and press ENTER or PLAY. To cancel the programmed selections 1 While the display appears on the screen, press / / / to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to cancel. 2 Press CLEAR while pressing SHIFT. To resume normal playback from memory playback 1 Press MEMORY while pressing SHIFT to display the programming display. 2 Since “Stop” is selected, press ENTER. You can also exit memory playback by pressing STOP. Notes • Pressing the CLEAR button while pressing the SHIFT button resets the numbers. • Some discs may not permit memory playback operation. • When the display appears on the screen, either selecting “Exit” and pressing the ENTER button or pressing the MEMORY button while holding down the SHIFT button causes the display to be disappeared. • The programmed selections will be cleared when you turn off the player. 34 Playing in Random Order You can play chapters or tracks in random order. (Random playback) STOP RANDOM SHIFT DVD-V VCD CD Playing chapters or tracks in random order Press RANDOM while pressing SHIFT. Each time you press the RANDOM button, the random mode changes as follows. If you press the RANDOM button during playback, the player automatically starts random playback after finishing the current chapter or track. Plays chapters once on a disc in random order. Plays chapters or tracks in random order. Resumes normal playback. ZOOM DVD-V VCD CD Zooming a picture During normal, slow, still, fast reverse or fast forward playback, press ZOOM. The player enters the zoom playback mode, and the zoom icon appears. e.g. Select the zoom point and magnification level. Magnification level You can select from the following. – Magnification – Image reduction – Normal playback Press the ZOOM button repeatedly. Zoom point To shift: Press / / / in the zoom in mode. 1 2 ZOOM ZOOM ENTER To exit zoom playback Press ZOOM repeatedly until the zoom icon disappear. ZOOM You can also use STOP to exit zoom playback.
