This manual supplies information for the installation, operation, and servicing of the appliance. Some jurisdictions require that installers be licensed. Check with your local building authority about contractor licensing requirements. Improper installation and/or operation could create carbon monoxide gas and flue gases which could cause serious injury or death. Improper installation and/or operation will void the warranty. Installation must be in accordance with all local codes and/or the lastest edition of the National Fuel Gas Code, Z233.1 and the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA70 (U.S.), or standards CSA B149 – INSTALLATION CODES FOR GAS-BURNING APPLIANCES AND EQUIPMENT and/or local codes and Standard CSA C22.1 – Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1 (Canada).
