Make sure the mode knob is in the OFF position. 2. Plug in the unit. 3. Turn the THERMOSTAT knob to the highest setting. 4. Turn the MODE control knob to the desired heat setting. (LO or HI). TIP: The Power light will remain lit while the heater is in operation. THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS This function allows you to set the heater to your desired comfort level. The heater will maintain your desired room temperature. 1. Set the THERMOSTAT knob to the highest setting, clockwise as far as it will turn. 2. When the desired temperature level is reached, lower the thermostat setting, by turning the THERMOSTAT knob counter- clockwise until it clicks. The heater will stop operating. 3. The thermostat will now automatically maintain the pre-set temperature level by turning the heater on and off. The thermostat is now set. TIP: It is normal for the heater to cycle on and off as it maintains the preset temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling, raise the thermostat setting. CLEANING/MAINTENANCE During Season Care: 1. Always unplug the heater before cleaning. 2. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. 3.
