. Do not expose the appliance to temperatures lower than 5 cC or higher than 35 cC. . Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced immune response, e.g. during pregnancy, or people who suffer from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should also consult their doctor first. . Your skin may become a little red and irritated the first few times you use the epilator.This phenomenon will soon disappear as your skin becomes used to epilation and the hairs become thinner and softer. If the irritation does not disappear within three days, we advise you to consult a doctor. . Regular massages with a loofah may help to prevent ingrowing hairs. Do not use the loofah immediately before or after epilation. . Epilating with the Satinelle super sensitive will leave your skin smooth and hair-free for weeks. As epilation may cause skin irritation or ingrown hairs in some women, we advise you to read the text below. . When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get accustomed to the epilation process. 8 ENGLISH General description (Fig. 1) . After use you can apply a mild cream or body milk to soothe your skin and reduce skin irritation. . Epilation is easier just after taking a shower or a bath.Your skin must be completely dry, however. . We advise you to epilate before going to bed at night. Any skin irritation that occurs will diminish overnight. Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease. Do not use any cream before you start epilating. 1 Put the adapter plug (J) in the wall socket. 2 Insert the appliance plug (H) into the inlet socket (G). (Fig. 2) 3 Remove the protective cover (A). (Fig. 3) 4 Switch the appliance on by sliding the on/off switch (F) to the desired speed setting: Select speed I (Fig. 4) for areas with little hair growth and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the skin, such as knees and ankles. Select speed II (Fig. 5) for larger areas with stronger hair growth. 5 Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand upright. (Fig. 6) 6 Place the epilating head (D) perpendicularly onto the skin so that the 10 ENGLISH Shaving 7 8 epilating head (D) and the pain softener (E) are in proper contact with the skin. Move the appliance slowly, with the pain softener (E) pointing forward, against the direction of hair growth. Do not exert any pressure. Stretch your leg when you are epilating the back of your knee. Switch the appliance off by sliding the on/off switch (F) to O.(Fig.7) 9 You can use the shaving head (C) to shave delicate body par ts, such as your armpits and bikini line. With the shaving head you will obtain a smooth result in a comfor table and gentle way. To be able to mount the shaving head, you will first have to remove the pain softener (E)! (Fig. 8) 1 Switch the appliance off. 2 Slide the pain softener for epilating the legs (E) off the appliance with your thumbs. (Fig. 8) 3 Remove the epilating head (D). (Fig. 9) Press the ribbed sections and slide the epilating head off the appliance in the direction of the arrow. ENGLISH 11 Cleaning 4 Push the shaving head (C) onto the appliance against the direction of the arrow until you hear a click. (Fig. 10) The shaving head can only be fitted onto the appliance in one way. 5 Switch the appliance on. Use the shaving head only at speed I to get the best results. (Fig. 4) 6 Place the trimmers and the shaving foil of the shaving head onto your skin and move the appliance slowly and smoothly against the direction of hair growth, while pressing it lightly.
