(For series 142, 182 ) The 4 fixed bolts must be loosed as shown in the figure by arrow if they are bolts, the method is that: push the blots inward till to another edge. Generally the fixed blots are opened for inlet grille easily up and down as well cheaning the air filter.After open it,lower the inlet grille using remote controller, the maximum distance is 2.24m. Then turn the 1 rotated clamps 90 degree as shown in the figure, hold the air filter and nearly in the horizontal direction slightly pull it out. Clean the air filter Clean the air filter with water or vacuum cleaner. Use the detergent or neutral soapy water if the air filter is too dirty. Then rinse the air filter with water,and reinstall after drying. Caution: Do not clean the air filter with hot water over 40 C, otherwise may damage the filter. Sweep the filter carefully. Clean indoor (outdoor )unit Clean with hot wet cloth and neutral detergent, then wipe with dry cloth.Do not use too hot water (over 40 C) which may result in fading and deforming. Install air filter (1) Put filter into protruding parts at the top of the inlet grill. (2) Connect the two pothooks with inlet grill See 2 [Clean inlet grill] 1. Open inlet grill See 1. Connet the two pothooks with inlet grill PUSH Press the elliptical knob the inlet grill will automatically drop Open two pothooks Pothook Press the elliptical "PUSH" knob, the inlet grill will automatically drop. (the inlet grill is catched with two pothooks) Drag the knob of the grill back lift the filter and take down. Air filter '' '' [Clean air filter] NOTE 1. Open inlet grill Press the elliptical "PUSH" knob, the inlet grill will automatically drop. (the inlet grill is catched with two pothooks) When having to clean, don't dismantle air-filter,otherwise may cause faults. In the environment where there is too much dust, air filter should be cleaned for more times. (about half a year one time) 2. Open two othooks (B) Wash with water. With too much dust, use soft brush and neutral detergent. Swing off the water, and then place in cool place. [Dismantle and install swing plate ] 1. Fix the swing plate at the bottom. 2. Dismantle the swing plate. CAUTION! Use water to clean the plate and don't heavily scrub, otherwise the fine hair may fall off. Unscrew the screw at both ends of the swing plate. [Dismantle and install swingplate ] 3. Install swing plate Lightly rotate swing plate to insert the ridge at both ends of the outlet into the groove and then screw up. 2. Take off air-filter 9 Maintenance Clean the air filter Instructions : When not for cleaning, do not dismantle the air filter, otherwise it may cause trouble. When the air conditioner is used in a dusty environment, the air filter should be cleaned more often (generally once every two weeks). Open 1. Open air inlet grille Pull the two handles at the same time, slowly draw them out. (when closing it, the procedure is reversed.) 2.Dismantle the air filter Pull the two side handles at the back of the air inlet grille, lift the air filter to dismantle it. 3. Clean Notice Do not use the hot water over 50 C to clean to avoid discoloration or deformation. Do not dry the unit on fire, the filter may be burnt. Use cleaner or water to clean to remove dust. (A) Use cleaner to remove dust. Open and remove (B) When the dust is too much, use soft brush and neutral detergent. (C) Throw the water off, then put it in the shadow for airing. 10 Maintenance 4. Install air filter (1)Put the air filter into those extruding parts at the top of the air inlet grille. 5. Close air inlet grille Referring to procedure 1. Clean the air inlet grille 1.
