13. Make sure the Cutting Wheel Blade (8) is wet at all times when cutting. 14. When operating the Tile Saw, always make sure to fill the Tray (17) with enough clean, cold water to cover the lower edge of the Cutting Wheel Blade (8), but not so deep as to spill over the edge of the Tray. Make sure the water supply for the Tile Saw is not dirty, sandy, and does not contain any corrosive chemical products. Back off the screw until its head rests on the stopper on the opposite handle. Back off the screw 1/6th of a turn at a time and hold tool to the light, observing result of gap setting. 3. To verify the gap, place a sheet of paper between the jaws and fully close the handles. The jaws should hold the paper in place. Hold the screw in place and tighten the lock nut.
