Avoid direct exposure to beam. 3 Vt-34 6 6.qxd 25.09.03 11:11 Page ~Q- ENGLISH CONTROL OPERATION AND FUNCTION • POWER SUPPLY This unit is designed to operate on AC mains supply or DC by using 6 pieces UM-2 size (batteries not included). • AC OPERATION Insert one end of the AC power cord into AC socket of the set and the other end into an AC wall outlet. The batteries will be automatically disconnected. • DC OPERATION Open the BATTERY DOOR. Install 6 pcs UM-2 size batteries. Please make sure they are inserted with correct polarity and close the door. Your unit is now ready for operation. • RADIO OPERATION A. Set FUNCTION SWITCH to "RADIO" position and set BAND SWITCH to your desired radio band position. B. Tune in to your desired radio station with the TUNING switch. C. Adjust VOLUME CONTROL to desired output level. D. Extend TELESCOPIC ANTENNA to full extent if you are listening to FM broadcasting. E. Turn off the radio by switching FUNCTION SWITCH to "POWER OFF" position. FM STEREO RECEPTION Slide the BAND switch to the FM STEREO position. The FM STEREO indicator will light when listening to a strong station that is broadcasting in stereo. • HEADPHONE JACK For private listening, insert a 3.5mm headphone (not included) into the HEADPHONE JACK. The SPEAKER output is automatically cut off. CAUTION: LISTENING AT HIGH POWER FOR ALONG MOMENT COULD DAMAGE USERS' EARS. • CD OPERATION PLAYING COMPACT DISCS GETTING STARTED NOTE: Should skipping of tracks occur during CD playing, try turning the volume down. When CD is playing, do not open the CD Door. 1. Press the CD door open button to open the CD DOOR. Put a CD into the CD COMPARTMENT and close the CD DOOR. Set the FUNCTION SWITCH to "CD" position. 2. When the CD DOOR is closed with a CD inside, the total number of tracks of the disc will be shown on the CD LED DISPLAY and will go to "STOP" mode. 3. If the CD DOOR is not closed or there is no disc inside, the DISPLAY will showand go to "STOP" mode. • PLAY/PAUSE MODE 1. When the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON is pressed during "STOP" mode, the first track will be played. The PLAY/PAUSE LED INDICATOR will be lighted. The CD LED DISPLAY will show 4 РУССКИЙ ПРОГРАММИРОВАННОЕ ВОСПРОИЗВЕДЕНИЕ Программированное воспроизведение позволяет прослушать мелодии в желаемом порядке. 1. Положите диск в отсек. 2. В режиме остановки нажмите кнопку PROGRAM (16). 3. Нажмите кнопку SKIP/SEARCH ми(13,14), чтобы выбрать нужную дорожку. Дисплей высветит ее номер. 4. Нажмите кнопку PROGRAM (16) еще раз. 5. Повторите шаги 3-4 для программирования других дорожек. 6. Для воспроизведения нажмите на клавишу PLAY/PAUSE ► / II (10). По окончании воспроизведения последней дорожки сработает режим остановки. 7. Для отмены запрограммированного воспроизведения нажмите кнопку “STOP” ■ (11) дважды или просто откройте отсек для компакт-диска. ПОИСК ЖЕЛАЕМОГО ТРЕКА Нажмите и удерживайте кнопки SKIP/SEARCH шДи (13,14), покане найдете нужную дорожкуили нужный момент записи. КОРПУС • Протирайте корпус магнитолы слегка влажной тканью. • Не используйте для чистки растворители, бензин, абразивные средства. • Не допускайте попадания жидкости вовнутрь прибора.
