It supports the compatibility of multi-touchscreens on a single PC. This window shows the basic information of the touchscreen and calibration. If several touch screens are mounted on the PC and the status is set to “Multi-screens display”, use the [Select Monitor] menu to choose the monitor related to each touch screen before calibration, otherwise the touchscreen will not work. Steps for setting up multi-touchscreens on a single PC: The button mark will appear in the center of each monitor screen in a master-slave sequence operated by the program after you click “Select Monitor”. Using the Software The method of calibration comprises the following steps: Select a touchscreen in the information list, and then click the “Calibrate” button when the calibration window shows up. The calibration will be completed by clicking in sequence the crosses with a pointer or a finger in a clockwise direction. As the calibration is performed in "Click on Release" mode, even if failing to click the cross at first, you can continually move to the cross, click, and then release. Press the ”Esc” button to exit calibration. After calibration, the “Recalibrate”, “OK” and “Cancel” buttons will show up. “ReCalibrate” means recalibration; “OK” means saving and exit; “Cancel” means exit without saving. Using the Software Mode Settings 1. Click on touch When the finger contacts a touch screen the mouse's single click will happen automatically. The mode only applies to touch, not to drag. In this mode the touchscreen responds the fastest. This mode is usually used for clicking a large object (e.g. OK button in the pop-up window) in applications. 2. Click on Release A mouse click event happens at the point where the finger leaves the touchscreen; it is a precisely controlled mode and therefore good for clicking a small object (e.g. Minimize button in the pop-up window) or hyperlink of web pages, such as POS and WEB applications. 3. Mouse Emulation The “Mouse Emulation” mode is the default one, fully emulating mouse operation, such as left-button clicking, moving, lifting and dragging. This mode is best for writing, drawing and dragging. 4. Enable Touch Enable(default)/disable touchscreen. 5. Hide Cursor Hide the cursor by clicking "Hide cursor" in Options when the mouse cursor is not used in some applications. 6. Send Right Click You can enable the right-click function (default). Click and press on any area on the screen for two seconds. The right-click pop-up menu will show up. Right-click is only Using the Software available in the Mouse Emulation mode. The higher the "Area" value, the wider the range of jitter. The Right Click menu will pop up when the finger contacts the screen for a while within the pre-set range of time and jitter. 7. Enable Double Click It is similar to the mouse's double click function. Obtain the best performance regarding Double Click by setting the "Double Click Settings" properties. "Speed" is displayed in "milliseconds." The higher the speed value, the longer the effective time between the two clicks of a double-click event. “Area” is used for amplifying or reducing the Double Click area. The double-click function is available in the "Click on touch," "Click on Release" and "Mouse Emulation" modes. 8. Enable Delay Touch After this function is enabled, high speed touch or scratch on the screen becomes ineffective. This function is very effective to maintain a steady touch on a specified area for a certain amount of time. It can be used for banking and industrial control applications, such as ATM and switches on industrial equipment; it is available in Click on touch and Click on Release modes.
