Place the monitor face down on a smooth surface. Pay attention not to scratch or damage the screen. 2. Hold the monitor and base with both hands. Gently bend the base vertically down to a fixed angle. 3. Turn off your computer and unplug its power cord. 2. Connect the VGA or DVI cable for video connection. 3. Connect the DC power input to your monitor. 4. Plug the power cord of the AC/DC adapter into a nearby AC power outlet. 5. Turn on your computer and monitor. If the monitor displays images, the installation is done. 2.2 Operating the monitor Description of the control buttons 564237 Access the OSD menu. Confirm the OSD adjustment. Return to previous OSD level. Use the Turbo function. Switch monitor’s power ON and OFF. Adjust the OSD menu. Change the signal input source. SmartImage hot key. There are 7 modes to select: Text, Office, Photo, Movie, Game, Economy, Off. Description of the On Screen Display What is On-Screen Display (OSD)? On-Screen Display (OSD) is a feature in all Philips LCD monitors. It allows an end user to adjust screen performance or select functions of the monitors directly through an on-screen instruction window.
