Radio Operation Radio Operation 1 Press the FM BUTTON (5) or the AM BUTTON (6) to select the desired radio band. 2 Turn the TUNING KNOB (7) to set the desired station. 3 Adjust the volume to the desired level. 4 Adjust the VOLUME KNOB (3) to the desired sound level. Antenna Antenna: for FM reception, the unit is provided witha FM WIRE ANTENNA (10) , move the wire untilthe reception is clear and with no interferences. ForAM reception, the unit is provided with a directionalbuild-in ferrite antenna. Rotate the set to find the position in which the best reception is obtained. Donot connect the FM WIRE ANTENNA (10) to anyoutside antenna. Auxiliary Outputs 1 You can connect your radio to different sourcesusing the auxiliary outputs. 2 Connect the auxiliary cables to the LINE OUTJACK (8) to the auxiliary inputs on the desiredcomponent. See the owner’s manual for theoperating instructions for the desired component. The LINE OUT JACK (8) only puts out a signaland will not run external speakers without using a separate amplified source. Turntable Operation Turntable Operation Turn the unit on by turning the ON-OFF SWITCH / VOLUME CONTROL KNOB (3) clockwise to theON position. 1 Press the PHONO BUTTON (4) to selectPHONO mode. 2 Set the SPEED CONTROL SWITCH (13) todesire speed (33 1/3,45 or 78 rpm). Place therecord on the TURNTABLE (15). 3 Pull the TONE ARM (12) slightly to the rightside until hear the “click” sound to activate the turntable. 4 Move the TONE ARM (12) by hand to the recordand slowly lower it to the desired starting point. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB (3) toadjust the volume to the desired level. 5 At the end of the record, the TONE ARM (12) will stop automatically. Note: Save all packing materials. 2 Remove plastic bag covering radio. 3 Remove plastic safety cover from A/C plug. 4 Remove tie from A/C POWER CORD (9) and untie FM WIRE ANTENNA (10) on back of radio. 5 Open lid and remove styrofoam shipping material from turntable. 6 Remove black tie-wrap from under the TONE ARM (12). 7 Remove white protective needle cover by gently pulling towards the front of the unit. 1 Plug A/C POWER CORD (9) into appropriate outlet.
