Noise or distortion occurs when playing back audio The sound is too weak Noise or distortion occurs when playing back audio The sound is too weak If a mic is connected to the UA-1EX, disconnect the mic and turn the input sensitivity knob all the way toward the left (lowering the input level). Have you connected the grounding terminal? Connecting the chassis of your computer or the grounding terminal of your computer’s AC power cord to an electrical ground may solve the problem. Also, make sure that a device that produces a strong magnetic field, such as a television or microwave oven, is not located nearby. Could numerous audio devices be connected? Noise may occur if numerous audio devices are connected. Do not connect audio devices you are not using. Sound from the device connected to the input jacks is distorted Use the UA-1EX’s input volume to reduce the input level. Insufficient volume from a device connected to the line input jacks Could you be using a connection cable with a built-in resistor? Please use a connection cable that does not contain a built-in resistor (such as one from the Roland PCS series). Is the input volume raised to the appropriate level? Try using the input volume to raise the input level. Others Others When Windows 2000 resumes from Suspend or Hibernation, the output volume setting is changed due to a problem of Windows.
