The FV-300H is a high-impedance stereo foot volume that is ideal for direct setup with a guitar or bass guitar, it is equipped with a tuner output, jack and therefore allows a quick tuning without changing the connections. Avoid using or storing the unit in dusty or humid areas or areas that are subject to high vibration levels. •For everyday cleaning, wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth (or one that has been slightly dampened with water). To remove stubborn dirt, use a mild neutral detergent. Afterwards, be sure to wipe the unit thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth. •Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind, to avoid the risk of discoloration and/or deformation. •Protect the unit from strong impact. •Do not allow objects or liquids of any kind to penetrate the unit. In the event of such an occurrence, discontinue use immediately. Contact qualified service personnel as soon as possible. •Should a malfunction occur (or if you suspect there is a problem) discontinue use immediately. Contact qualified service personnel as soon as possible. (CONNECTIONS Tuner ■How to use the TUNER OUT jack Connect the output of a guitar (or Bass Guitar) to INPUT 1 on the FV-300H. Connect a tuning device to the TUNER OUT jack. (The signal from INPUT 2 cannot be sent to the TUNER OUT jack.) If you return the pedal to the minimum position, you can now tune the instrument without any sound from the amplifier. (In this case, set the MINIMUM VOLUME knob to zero.) *The FV-300H is a high-lmpedance device and should be directly connected to a guitar or bass guitar as shown in the picture. * Connect the guitar, FV-300H and amplifier correctly. ■OPERATION ■SPECIFICATIONS 0 Connect the FV-300H to a guitar {or Bass Guitar) and an amplifier as shown above. (2) With the pedal fully depressed, set the maximum volume level by adjusting the volume on the guitar {or Bass Guitar) and amplifier. (D Return the pedal to the minimum position. Set the minimum volume level using the MINIMUM VOLUME knob on the pedal. (The maximum volume level cannot be changed with the MINIMUM VOLUME knob.) (4) Now you can control the volume within the range you have just specified.
