V.. «... Y WQ -Ш If you will not be installing the MB-24 in a system rack, this step is not necessary. Connect the devices as shown in the diagram. To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any connections. Turning the Power On/Off Turning the power on 1 Before turning on the power, make sure that all devices are connected correctly. Turn on the power of the MB-24. After all LED indicators light, only the " ." in the display will light. The function area will show the settings that have been made by the mixing console. The indicator at the peak position will remain lit for the length of time that you specify. This is convenient when you are adjusting the levels. 1 Turn on the power. Press [SI] once. The level meters will indicate 'TEAK/' and the display will show the peak hold time (0 - 7, Cont). Continue pressing [S2] until the desired peak hold time appears. This can be set in the range of 1 - 7 seconds. If you want the indicator to remain lit at the peak position, select "Cont." If you do not need to see the peak location, select "0." Press [SI] once again to finalize the peak hold time. Changing the MIDI receive channel Turn on the power. ^ Press [SI] twice. The level meter will indicate "MIDIch," and the display will show the MIDI channel number (1-16). ^ Continue pressing [S2] until the desired channel number appears. ^ Press [SI] once again to finalize the channel number. Using the demo display If the peak hold time has been set to "Cont," you can turn off the peak location indicator by selecting a setting other than "Cont," or by turning the power off and on again. When the power is turned off, the peak hold time setting will return to the default setting of "3." Make this setting if you want to temporarily change the peak hold time. A ybji The MIDI channel > setting will return to the default value of "16" when the power is turned off. You can make this setting when you wish to temporarily change the MIDI receive channel. Simultaneously press [SI] and [S2] to put the MB-24 in demo display mode. To exit demo display mode, simultaneously press [SI] and [S2] once again.
