Follow the assembly instructions and select the parts as needed. 1. Attach the stand bases. Making sure that the boards are facing the proper direction (the holes should face inside). Insert the joint connectors w into the holes as shown. The joint connectors have been installed properly if you can see a plus mark on the connector. Attach the stand bases to the rear of the side boards, using the 6 x 70 mm roundhead screws q . The left and right stand bases are the same shape. If you have trouble screwing in the screws, use a screwdriver to rotate the joint connectors to the appropriate position – the . mark on the joint connectors indicates the location of the screw hole. 2. Attach the back board. Attach the back board, using the 6 x 30 mm roundhead screws e . Make sure the non-colored surface is facing down. There is no particular left-to-right orientation for the back board, and it can be installed either way. • Be careful not to drop the back board or touch the sharp metal fittings. 3. Attach the support rail. Spread a large soft cloth (such as a blanket) on the floor. Place the keyboard on the cloth with the keyboard side facing down. Align the support rail 5 into the groove on the bottom of the keyboard and attach the rail, using the 4 x 45mm flathead screws 6 . 4. If you assembled the stand on an unlevel surface, such as a blanket or rug, place the assemble stand on a level surface. 5. Put the keyboard on the stand. Carefully place the keyboard on the side boards. Slowly move the keyboard so that the holes on the bottom of the keyboard are properly aligned with the holes on the angle brackets. • Be careful not to drop the keyboard or to get your fingers caught between the keyboard and the stand parts. 6. Install the keyboard to the stand. Fix the keyboard to the angle brackets, using the 5 x 16 mm roundhead screws r . Post-assembly checklist Once you’ve assembled the stand, check the following points: • Are there any parts left over? . If so, read the assembly instructions again and correct any errors you might have made. • Is the instrument clear of doors and other movable fixtures? . If not, move the instrument to an appropriate location. • Does the instrument make a rattling noise when you play it or move it? . If so, properly tighten all screws. • Also, if the keyboard makes a creaking noise or seems unsteady when you play it, refer carefully to the assembly instructions and diagrams and retighten all screws. Have a phillips-head (+) screwdriver ready. ENGLISH Les elements qui sont representes sur la figure intitulee “Elements a assembler” seront utilises. Veuillez vous conformer aux instructions d’assemblage et selectionner les elements necessaires. 1. Fixez les bases du pupitre. Il faut veiller a placer les panneaux dans la direction appropriee (les trous doivent etre orientes vers l’inteeur). Inserez les connecteurs de jonction w dans les trous comme indique. Les connecteurs de jonction sont correctement installes si vous arrivez a voir la marque plus (+) sur le connecteur. Fixez les bases du pupitre a l’arriere des panneaux lateraux a l’aide de vis a tete demironde de dimensions 6 x 70 mm q . Les bases droite et gauche du pupitre sont de forme identique. Si vous rencontrez des difficultes pour fixer les vis, utilisez un tournevis et faites pivoter les connecteurs de jonction sur la position appropriee: la marque ( . ) sur les connecteurs indique l’emplacement du trou de la vis. 2. Fixez le panneau arriere. Fixez le panneau arriere a l’aide de vis a tete demi-ronde de dimensions 6 x 30 mm e . Assurez-vous que la surface non coloree est face au sol.
