Adjust toward the - (minus) direction to raise the position of the OSD, and adjust toward the + (plus) direction to lower it. Choices: -5 to +5 Initial setting: 0 ■ UNIT SET (Unit settings) Use this to change the display unit of measurement. Choices: METERS (Australia, Europe, Asia, and Korea models), FEET (U.S.A. and Canada models) • Select METERS to enter distances in meters. • Select FEET to enter distances in feet. Note If you change this setting, the adjusted sound beam settings may change. 64 En Adjusting the audio balance You can adjust the sound beam output level of each channel by using the test tone or the audio output being played back in each beam mode to achieve a more true-to-life surround sound experience. Using the test tone You can use the test tone feature to output a test tone from each channel to manually balance the channel levels. Use this to set the channel levels so that the volume level of each channel is identical when heard from your listening position. 1 Set the operation mode selector to YSP. 3 Press ^ / ^7 to select the channel you want to adjust. The front panel display changes as follows: TEST FRONT L i E SS L-EnTER TtSl FRONT R t TEST SUR.R t TEST SUR.L t TEST SUBWOOFER ITV/AVI I YSP 1 * 2 Press TEST. “TEST FRONT L” appears in the front panel display and a test tone is output from the front left channel. Note “TEST SUBWOOFER” is only available when SWFR is selected for BASS OUT in SOUND MENU (see page 59). 4 Press 4 / |> to adjust the channel volume. Even when both digital and analog signals are input simultaneously, only analog signals are selected.
