The average life of the internal backup battery is approximately 5 years, depending on operating conditions. * Data items maintained in the internal memory by the backup battery are as follows: • Current scene parameters and number. • Device parameters (HA, UTILITY, Master Mute/Level, etc.). • Event log. Data items other than those described above are stored in memor y that does not require backup power, and will be retained even if the backup batter y fails. Do not turn the [POWER] switch on and off repeatedly and rapidly. Be sure to wait six seconds or more between turning the power to the unit off and then on. The rubber feet included in this package can be attached to the speaker to prevent slippage when it is to be used on a slipper y surface. Yamaha cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper use or modifications to the device, or data that is lost or destroyed. Always turn the power off when the device is not in use. The performance of components with moving contacts, such as switches, volume controls, and connectors, deteriorates over time.
