Route the Mini-Card antenna cables through the routing guides at the bottom of the computer, and replace the Mini-Card (see Replacing the Mini-Card). 9. Replace the hard drive (see Replacing the Hard Drive). 10. Replace the memory module(s) (see Replacing the Memory Module(s)). 11. Replace the module cover (see Replacing the Module Cover). 12. Replace the battery (see Replacing the Battery). Display Bezel Removing the Display Bezel 1 display assembly 2 screws (4) 3 display cable connector 4 camera cable connector CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer. CAUTION: The display bezel is extremely fragile. Be careful when removing it to prevent damaging the bezel. 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly). 3. Remove the six rubber pads that cover the screws securing the display bezel to the display assembly. 4. Remove the five screws and loosen the captive screw on the display bezel. 5. Using your fingertips, carefully pry up the inside edge of the display bezel. 6. Remove the display bezel. Replacing the Display Bezel 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Align the display bezel over the display assembly, and gently snap into place. 3. Replace the five screws and tighten the captive screw on the display bezel. 4. Replace the six rubber pads to cover the screws securing the display bezel to the display assembly. 5. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Display Assembly). Display Panel Removing the Display Panel 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly). 3. Remove the display bezel (see Removing the Display Bezel). 4. Remove the two screws that secure the display panel to the display cover. 5. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer. 6. Remove the six screws (three on each side) that secure the display panel brackets to the display panel. 7. Turn the display panel over and remove the display panel cable (see Removing the Display Panel Cable). Replacing the Display Panel 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Replace the display panel cable on the back of the display panel (see Replacing the Display Panel Cable). 3. Replace the six screws that secure the display panel brackets to the display panel. 4. Align the screw holes on the display panel with the holes on the display cover. 5. Replace the two screws that secure the display panel to the display cover. 6. Replace the display bezel (see Replacing the Display Bezel). 7. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Display Assembly). Turn the display panel over and place it on a clean surface. 6. Disconnect the display panel cable from the display board connector. Replacing the Display Panel Cable 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Connect the display panel cable to the display board connector. 3. Replace the display panel (see Replacing the Display Panel). 4. Replace the display bezel (see Replacing the Display Bezel). 5. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Display Assembly). Display Hinges Removing the Display Hinges 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly). 3. Remove the display bezel (see Removing the Display Bezel). 4. Remove the display panel (see Removing the Display Panel). 5. Remove the two screws (one on each hinge) that secure the display hinges to the display cover. 6.
