Hampton H200 Cast Freestanding Woodstove INSTALLATION BRICK INSTALLATION Firebrick is included to extend the life of your stove and to radiate heat more evenly. Check to see that all firebricks are in their correct positions and have not become misaligned during shipping. Optional Ash Plug shown. DOOR REMOVAL 1) Open door. 2) Push spring lever down while holding onto the door. 3) Pull door down and lift out to remove. Bottom of door lifts right out. Spring Lever Bottom part of door fits into slot. OPTIONAL SHORT LEG INSTALLATION 1) Remove the cast lid from the top of the stove. 2) Remove fan, if installed. 3) Carefully lay the unit on it's back on a soft surface to prevent scratching. 4) Remove the 4 standard legs by undoing the bolts. Standard Leg 5) Secure the 4 short legs using the bolts removed from step 4. Short Leg 6) Carefully bring stove to standing position. 7) Place cast lid back on top of stove. 8) Re-install fan, if removed. 9) Place decal 918-700 (included with cast legs) on the back of the stove near the serial number decal. Hampton H200 Cast Freestanding Woodstove INSTALLATION An optional blower is available for the Hampton OPTIONAL BLOWER/FAN INSTALLATION H200. The blower is factory assembled, wired 2) Remove back shield by undoing 2 bolts. NOTE: For more detailed information see instructions included with the Optional Blower. CAUTION: Moving parts may cause injury. Do not operate unit with blower housing removed. DANGER: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power before servicing unit. CAUTION: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation. WhiteLow (Red) High (Black) WARNING: Electrical Grounding Instructions This appliance is equipped with a three pronged (grounding) plug for your protection against shock hazard and should be plugged directly into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle. Do not cut or remove the grounding prong from this plug. and ready for attachment to the stove. This unit must be connected to a grounded, standard 120 volts, 60 Hz electrical outlet. Never route the power cord under or in front of the unit. Do not under any circumstances, cut or remove the grounding prong from the power cord. Do not use an adaptor plug. GroundFan Fan Ground Green Neutral Live Fan Switch Manual/ Auto Switch Black Black Black Fan Thermodisc (normally open) 120V AC 60 Hz Blower/Fan Wiring Diagram NOTE INPUT POWER: Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan use 240V AC 50 Hz. 1) Remove fan cover plate from back shield by undoing 3 screws and discard plate. 3) Loosen the 2 bolts you see after remov- ing back shield, one on each side of the stove. 4) Hook fan over the bolts. Fan 5) Tighten bolts to secure fan. Tighten bolts 6) Re-install back shield. Back Shield 7) Using the 3 screws from the fan cover plate, secure the fan assembly to the back shield. 8) Plug in power cord. Hampton H200 Cast Freestanding Woodstove INSTALLATION OPTIONAL SIDE SHELF INSTALLATION 1) Secure 2 Support Gussets to each Side Shelf using 2 screws per 4) Mount side shelf to stove and secure in place using the allen key gusset. provided to secure the 2 set screws. Underside of Side Shelf Shown. NOTE: Ensure that the Bracket cut-out is towards the back of the stove. Bracket Cut-Out Support Gussets 2) Secure the Brackets to the middle of the Side Shelves using 2 screws and washers. Underside of Right Hand Side Shelf Shown. Bracket Cut-Out NOTE: When mounting the side shelf ensure that the gusset closest to the Right front of the stove is against Bracket the top of the Side Casting and NOT against the side of the Front Casting.
