Adding Detergent • 1 tablespoon (15ml) will clean most loads (see Figure 6). • Do not use more than 3 tablespoons (45ml). • Do not over fill the detergent dispenser. • When using detergent tabs, lay them flat to avoid contact with the cover. To Close • Place finger as shown in Figure 7. • Slide cover fully left. • Push rear end of the cover down firmly until it clicks. Note: The dishwasher indicates low rinse aid by turning on the Refill Rinse Aid indicator LED (for units without a display) or symbol (for units with a display). If this light is on, you need to refill the rinse aid dispenser by following the directions below. Adding Rinse Aid Open the rinse aid reservoir and add liquid rinse aid by pouring over the arrow. Turn the arrow to adjust the amount of rinse aid dispensed (see Figure 9). Wipe up any excess rinse aid that may puddle when the dispenser reservoir is full. The indicator light will go out a few moments after the dishwasher door is shut. A single dose of detergent was used in the Detergent Dispenser, with no detergent used in the prewash. The test was conducted with the upper rack in the lowest position. Express: Cleans lightly soiled dishes and reduces overall wash time. Use this cycle to clean glasses and dessert dishware that may need to be reused at the same event. Half Load: Reduces the energy and water consumption when washing small, lightly soiled loads that fill approximately half of the dishwasher’s capacity.
