These release notes describe the modifications and known issues for Patch 11 (P11). The application
of this patch is intended for HP 3PAR InForm OS 3.1.1.226.
This patch updates the firmware of the Micron C400 solid state drive functioning in the HP P10000
3PAR controller node.
CAUTION:
The SP 2.5.1 P004 is a corequisite patch and must be previously installed or immediately
after any InForm 3.1.1. patch installation to ensure the proper function of a node rescue if necessary.

1.2 Verifying the patch installation
The installation of Patch 11 can be verified from an Interactive CLI session. Issue the CLI command
showversion -a -b to verify that Patch 11 is listed.

P10000 node drive lockup
The HP P10000 3PAR Storage System controller node uses a solid state drive
after 5200 power on hours
(SSD). The SSD firmware has a bug that causes the drive to lock up when it
reaches 5200 hours of power on time. The new drive firmware version
corrects the lockup issue.
