If you intend to call from rotary or pulse telephones, order the Touchtone Dialer on the ACCESSORY page. LISTENING TO MESSAGES (OPTION 1) After the access code has been entered, messages will automatically be played. PAUSING MESSAGES During playback of the message you want paused, press 1on your keypad. Messages will be paused for up to one minute before disconnecting. To resume playback, press 1again. ERASE MESSAGES (OPTION 2) During playback of the message you want erased, press 2on your touchtone keypad. To confirm deletion of the message, you will hear a beep. 1 2 To erase all messages, press 2after hearing “ End of Messages. ” You will hear a beep and all messages will be erased. Press 3on your telephone keypad when finished speaking. Your new greeting will play automatically. CHANGE YOUR GREETING (OPTION 3) If your TI-310 is currently playing back messages, press 1on your keypad to pause playback. Press 3on your telephone keypad, a beep will be heard, begin recording your new greeting. 3 NOTE: n There is a one minute maximum for recording your greeting through remote operation. SKIP BACKWARD (OPTION 4) Press 4on your keypad to skip back to the previous message. 1 REPEAT MESSAGE (OPTION 5) Press 5on your keypad to repeat the current message. 1 SKIP FORWARD (OPTION 6) Press 6on you keypad to skip forward to the next message. 1Press 8on your keypad after hearing “ End of messages.” to turn the answering machine off. Upon exiting remote operation, the unit will be turned off and no further messages will be recorded. REMOTE ANSWER OFF/ON (OPTION 7 & 8) 2In the event you accidentally turned your answering machine off, press 7on your keypad to turn the unit back on. 1 EXITING REMOTE OPERATION (OPTION 9) Press 9on your keypad at any time during remote operation to exit. 1 MESSAGE RETRIEVAL WHEN MEMORY IS FULL If the TI-310’ s memory is full, you will hear three short beeps followed by, “ Memory full. ” To retrieve messages remotely when the TI-310’ s memory is full: Enter your 3-DIGIT ACCESS CODE as the greeting plays. 2After listening to messages, you may press 2on the keypad to erase all messages and allow callers to leave new messages.
