The product is guaranteed against any factory defect or damage as a result of transportation. - Before first turning on your vacuum cleaner, make sure that the supply voltage matches the operational voltage of the vacuum cleaner. - Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended while it is turned on or connected to power. Always disconnect the power cord from the outlet when the vacuum cleaner is not in use or before servicing. - To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces. - Do not use the vacuum cleaner in rooms where flammable liquids, like gasoline and solvents, are stored. - Do not attempt to us the vacuum cleaner to clean up water, hot or smoking cigarettes, matches, burning ash, thinly-spread dust, like that from carpentry, cement, flour or ashes, and also sharp or cutting objects - this can lead to serious damage to the electric motor. Remember, that these things are not covered by the guarantee. - Use and store your vacuum cleaner away from heat sources. - Do not allow children to use the vacuum cleaner as a toy. Be especially attentive if children or handicapped persons are nearby while the vacuum cleaner is in use. - Check the power cord regularly. Do not use the device if defects are discovered in the device or its power cord. - Refer to an authorized service center for repair or cord replacement. - Do not use the power cord as a handles for the vacuum cleaner; do not close the door if the power cord is in the doorway, and also avoid letting the power cord come into contact with sharp edges and corners. Lid catch PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES If during cleaning, suction power acutely decreases, quickly turn off the vacuum cleaner and check the telescoping pipe or flexible hose for blockages. Turn off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect it from power, remove the blockage and then continue cleaning. • Do not use the vacuum cleaner near high-heat surfaces, near ash trays, and also in places where flammable liquids are stored. • Insert the power plug into the electrical outlet with dry hands only. • Before beginning cleaning, remove all sharp objects from the floor, so as to not allow damage to the preliminary and HEPA filters. • Always grip the plug when disconnecting the power cord from the outlet; do not pull on the cord. ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER Unpack the vacuum cleaner completely. Before turning it on, verify that the supply voltage matches the operational voltage of the vacuum cleaner. Always turn off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the power cord from the outlet when sleeping. USING THE VACUUM CLEANER • Make sure that the dust collection bin and HEPA filter are installed correctly. • Install the flexible hose onto the suction opening. To remove the flexible hose, press the hose lock (10) and remove it (Pic. 1). • Attach the telescoping pipe to the flexible hose (Pic. 2). Telescoping pipe (2) • Slide out the lower part of the telescoping pipe to the desired length while pressing the lock button (Pic. 3). Brush for bare floors/carpet (1) • Attach the brush (1) to the telescoping pipe (2) (Pic. 4). • Set the switch on the brush (depending on the type of surface that you want to clean) to the desired position (Pic. 5-6). Small brush for cleaning furniture (14) • This brush is designed specially for cleaning fabric-covered surfaces. Furniture brush (15) • This brush is designed for cleaning dust from furniture surfaces; its long bristles prevent damage to polished furniture surfaces.
