PARTS AND OPERATING CONTROLS 1. Motor housing 2. Carrying handle 3. Shoulder strap attachment points 4. On/Off switch 5. Container release button 6. Motor protection filter 7. Dust container 8. Suction hole 9. Hose 10. Wide brush nozzle 11. Upholstery brush 12. Shoulder strap USE To switch the vacuum cleaner on, follow diagrams 1 to 6. When attaching the hose to the vacuum cleaner (Fig. 2) make sure that you use the narrowest end and in the correct position. Do not force it. When suction power decreases considerably it means that the container is full and the filter is clogged with dirt. To empty it, press the container release button (Fig. 7) take out the filter (Fig. 8) and empty the dirt out of the container (Fig. 9). Shake the filter clean before refitting it (Fig. 10). To reattach the container, insert the bottom clips first and close it as shown in figure 11. For extra convenience you can attach the shoulder strap (Fig. 12) and carry it around hanging from your shoulder. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE The dust container can be washed in soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning products that might damage the surfaces. Dry the container thoroughly before putting it back on to vacuum cleaner. Depending on how dirty it is, the filter can be shaken clean or washed. It is advisable to hand wash the filter in soapy water from time to time, rinsing it out thoroughly and leaving it to dry completely before refitting it. The filter should be replaced periodically. Replacement filters can be obtained from an Authorised Technical Service Centre. The accessories and the motor housing can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor housing in water or any other liquid. ADVICE ON DISPOSAL: Our goods come in optimised packaging.
