Designed for continuous operation, this transmitter can be tuned to any frequency in the international broadcast bands between 3.9 and 22 megahertz in less than one minute. Introduction: In an effort to improve reliability and dependability, Continental teamed with Comet to identify replacement capacitors for the Continental Type 419F Transmitters. Scope: Continental was interested in continued support of existing installations. Application: Continental has verified these replacements and begun replacing failed capacitors in the field. Responsibilities: Since difference can occur over time in specific installations, it is always recommended to verify replacements in your application.
