Maintenance Clean the unit with a soft cloth, or a damp chamois leather. Never use solvents. Power Failure Indicator When AC power is interrupted (disconnected) for a short period of time, both time and alarm settings will change (unless battery is installed). After AC power is restored (reconnected), the Digital Display will blink to indicate that power was interrupted and you should readjust the time and alarm settings. Plugging In For Power AC OUTLET POWER SUPPLY: 120V~60Hz Note: Power is fed to the unit even when it is not functioning. To cut the power supply off, the power cable must be unplugged. Front View power switch - turns the unit on or off. Left View BAND/FM••AM - selects FM or AM band. TUNING - selects radio frequency. WAKE 1 - activates Wake 1 settings and changes Wake 1 mode. • (Wake to alarm) - selects alarm as the waking mode. • (Wake to music) - selects radio as the waking mode. • OFF - deactivates Wake 1 waking mode. WAKE 1 CHECK TIME - press once to check waking time. Right View BRIGHTNESS/LO••HI - selects display brightness (LO - low, HI - high) -VOLUME+ - adjusts volume. WAKE 2 - activates Wake 2 settings and changes Wake 2 mode. • (Wake to alarm) - selects alarm as the waking mode. • (Wake to music) - selects radio as the waking mode. • OFF - deactivates Wake 2 waking mode. WAKE 2 CHECK TIME - press once to check waking time. Top View display - switches between analogue and digital clock display. SNOOZE - turns off the alarm. sleep - activates sleep function.
