ALARM AND RADIO OPERATION The alarm and radio can be powered by either two (2) AA batteries or an AC adapter (not included). BATTERY OPERATION 1. Remove the battery compartment door on the bottom of the unit by inserting a small screwdriver, paper clip or similar item into the tab while gently pushing, then lifting it out. 2. Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included) as shown at the right and according to the polarity diagram. First insert the battery labeled “1”, and then the battery labeled “2”. Slide the Band switch 2 to the desired band, AM or FM. 3 Adjust the volume using the Volume control ¶.
