Press qCID or pDIR to scroll to >Answer ON/OFF, then press MENU/SELECT. 4. Press qCID or pDIR to highlight >On or >Off, then press MENU/SELECT to save the setting. You hear a confirmation tone. When the answering system is on, the handset shows ANS ON. Using the telephone base: Press /ANSWER ON to turn the answering system on or off.
