Press the ЎPR^ buttons to select a programme number you want. 2. Select the Manual from the Install menu. 3. Press the VOL> button and the manual tuning window appears. 4. Press the buttons to search up or down. 5. Searching will be stopped automatically after finding the next channel. 6. When a new channel is found, a channel memorizing window will appear. 7. Select save(Using the menu button) or cancel (Using the blue button). Note : If you are unable to get any programs using Auto Tuning because of a poor broadcasting signal, it is possible to store the Manual tuning. Fine Tune 1. Select a programme number you want to tune finely with the ЎPR^ buttons. 2. Select the Fine tune from the Install menu. 3. Press the VOL> button and the fine tuning window appears. 4. Adjust the fine tuning with the buttons. 5. If you press down blue button, Fine Tune will be canceled. Note : If you are unable to get a good picture or sound because of a poor broadcasting signal, it is adjustment of the fine tuning might improve it. The set will switch to stand-by mode and then the Indicator will illuminate in Red. 2. Press the POWER button on the remote controller or the POWER button on the TV set when the indicator is red. The TV set will be switched on and the indicator will be changed to green. SWITCHING OFF 1. Press the POWER button on the remote controller or the POWER button on the TV set to return the set to its stand-by mode. The Indicator will illuminate in Red. 2. Press the On/OFF button on the TV set to switch the TV set off completely. NOTE: If you turn the TV off, the present time that you have set will disappear. If you don’t use the set for extended periods of time, unplug the AC cord from Power outlet. Recall The Recall button on the remote controller is used to display the current status; Mode (TV,Video, Component, PC), Signal information, the Programme number, MGDi, and PIP information, Time are displayed. The Number buttons are used for direct programme selection. To select a two-digit programme, press the second numbered button within 2 seconds. (EX. When you want to select PR10, you should press down “1” and “0” within 2second. If you only press down “1”, after 2second, PR1 will be selected.) ЎPR^SELECTION You can also select a programme by pressing step by step theЎPR^ buttons. Sound Control VOLUME CONTROL Adjust the volume with the buttons. MUTE Pressing the MUTE button ( ) turns the sound off. Volume The MUTE symbol will be displayed. The sound returns if the button is pressed once more. Stereo/Mono/Dual1,2 sound selection When receiving a Stereo programme, Stereo mode is automatically selected. In Stereo reception if you are unable to get good sound quality due to poor reception, you can force a change from Stereo to Mono transmission by pressing the ( ) button. Then the program status display indicates Mono. To select Stereo/Dual1/Dual2, press the ( ) button again. The setting can be individually selected for each PR number. Press the VOL> button. 4. Select the item to adjust with the ЎPR^ buttons. 5. Press the buttons. The level adjust mode of each function appears : “Brightness”, “Contrast”, “Colour”, “Sharpness”, “Tint”. You can adjust the level of each item by using the buttons. NOTE: Tint is displayed only when receiving a NTSC signal. The adjusted levels are stored automatically in Favourite mode. NOTE: You cannot adjust the colour saturation in PC and DVI mode. This is PRE-SET to the correct level by the system. Smart Picture mode Selection 1. Select Mode from the Picture menu. 2. Using buttons, Select the desired mode. Four pictures settings; Standard > Dynamic > Cinema > Favourite Note : When you press the Picture button on the remote controller repeatedly, you can call up four pictures settings. Standard: For a highly defined image in a normally bright room Dynamic: For a clear-cut image emphasizing high contrast for sports viewing Cinema: Ideal for movies Favourite: Allows the user to customize settings as desired.
