TV/Video Button - Press to select TV or Video Input. -10- Special Functions R-TUNE R-Tune Button - Pressing O will switch between the last two channels selected on the numeric keypad. NOTE: When scanning channels with the CHANNEL UP/DOWN button, pressing the R-TUNE button will switch between the last two channels scanned. SLEEP Sleep Button — Press O repeatedly for automatic turn OFF in 30, 60 or 90 minutes as desired. Sleep Timer clock will flash prior to automatic turn OFF. NOTE: Display will flash 3, 2 and 1 to indicate the last three remaining minutes prior to turn OFF. To deactivate, press the Sleep button continuously until the display shows “NO” instead of minutes. Press O twice to exit sub menus or press ACTION O once while the EXIT Icon is highlighted to exit Main Menu. Language Menu Selection The LANGUAGE MENU is factory set to ENGLISH. Follow the instructions to change the Language Menu to SPANISH, FRENCH, and back to ENGLISH. ACTION 1. Press O . 2. Press ^ or^ and ^9 or to highlight the Set-Up Icon. ACTION 3. Press O twice to exit menus. -12- Picture Adjustments Picture Norm Use to reset Color, Tint, Brightness, Picture, and Sharpness adjustments back to a factory preset level. ACTION 1. Press O . 2. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the remaining Adjustments. kCTIOI O ACTION 7. Press O twice to exit menus. Helpful Hints: COLOR - Adjust for desired color intensity. TINT - Adjust for natural flesh tones. BRIGHTNESS - Adjust so dark areas of picture slightly become black for a crisp detail. PICTURE - Adjust the white areas of the picture as desired. SHARPNESS - Adjust for best clarity of outline detail. Audio Adjustments Mode (Stereo/SAP/Mono) When Audio is broadcast in Stereo or SAP, an On-Screen display will appear on initial ‘Turn On” and “Channel Change”. The available choices will be highlighted. ACTION 1. Press O . ^ or ^ and ^3 or 2. Press Icon. ACTION 3. Press O and^-J orl-^ to highlight the Audio to display the Audio Adjustment Menu. 4. Press ^ orü to select the STEREO, SAP (Second Audio Programming), or MONO. The selected mode will be highlighted. ACTION 5. Press O twice to exit menus. Helpful Hints: STEREO - Two channel audio reception. SAP - Second Audio Programming (such as bilingual audio, weather reports, etc.). MONO - Use when stereo signal is weak. -13- Lock Lock Game Guard Prevents video games and other video sources from being viewed. Channel 3,4 and video inputs are locked out for 12, 24 or 48 hours. NOTE: Be sure to understand this feature before attempting its use. Use a code that you will easily remember or write the code on a piece of paper. ACTION 1. Press O . 2.
