set of external attribute blocks and therefore, when any other inodes were not found to have these
blocks, the utility would fail.

The HP-SMB shutdown process now has a timed wait period for all I/O to complete. If I/O is not
completed within the wait period, the HP-SMB service automatically begins a clean shutdown
and restart. Previously, the HP-SMB service could become stuck if the service was manually stopped
during heavy I/O. The service could fail to restart in this scenario, and I/O would stop, which
resulted in users having to manually shut down the service.

The StoreAll OS Software was updated to ensure scheduled native snapshots are taken as planned.
Previously, an issue occurred in the snapshot process (information about a scheduled snapshot
task was retrieved incorrectly), which caused the scheduled snapshot to fail.

Updated the firmware and driver versions of the X9720 G6 LOM NC532i Network adapter to
fix an issue with an MDC/MDIO access timeout message that previously displayed.

A server failure no longer occurs when simultaneous DCN (directory change notification)
registrations occur on the same file or directory.

Updated the Firmware Management Tool to include firmware version M114P01 for the
MSA2312sa storage controller. This firmware resolves several issues.

When using either a Powerless command (clear-content) or a Windows command prompt (copy
/Y nul) to clear content on a file on an SMB share, the content will now be cleared successfully.

When you execute the ibrix_quota command on a Linux 6.x client, the command output for
hard and soft limits is now reported correctly and is the same as when executing the command
on a StoreAll node. Previously, the hard and soft limits that were reported on the Linux 6.x client
were incorrect.

Updated the Firmware Management Tool (FMT) to include the latest firmware (5.2.3) for the
NC382i embedded network adapter used on 93xx systems. Previously, because the network
adapter firmware was not detected, the following error message would display when attempting
to update the NIC firmware: 0x1A0F - Discovery failed for HP Embedded Network
Adapter using CP0xxxxx.scexe.

If the node running the active Fusion Manager shuts down unexpectedly, the cluster virtual interface
(VIF) is now correctly freed so another node can take over with the active Fusion Manager.
Previously, because the active Fusion Manager failed, the cluster VIF was not properly released,
which resulted in there being no active Fusion Manager on any node in the cluster. Although data
remained accessible, users could not access the user interface, execute CLI commands, or maintain
system monitoring.

The ibrix_nic command was modified to ensure that, when setting the IP address and/or the
netmask, the broadcast address is calculated and set properly. Previously, the broadcast address
was not calculated correctly, which led to unnecessary and misrouted traffic on the user network.

Implemented a shell script (pruneIbrixEvent.sh) that runs once daily to manage the size of
the Fusion Manager event database – a minimum of two days of events are retained for normal
operations and a maximum of seven days of events are retained for troubleshooting. If the active
Fusion Manager is working as expected when the script is run, all events older than the last two
days are purged. For example, if the script runs on the 20th, all events older than the 18th are
purged. If the active Fusion Manager is experiencing issues or the database size is 5 MB or
greater when the script is run, the last seven days of events are retained for troubleshooting
purposes.

The auto upgrade now archives and purges all events by executing the ibrix_event –l -n
and ibrix_event -i -n commands. Events from ibrix_event -l -n are archived in
/usr/local/ibrix/log/install/
