Private households in the EU can take used equipment to special recycling stations free of charge. In some member states you can, in certain cases, return the used equipment to the retailer from whom you purchased it, if you are purchasing new equipment. Contact your retailer, distributor or the municipal authorities for further information on what you should do with electrical and electronic waste. GUARANTEE TERMS The guarantee does not apply: • if the above instructions are not followed • if the apparatus has been interfered with • if the appliance has been mishandled, subjected to rough treatment, or has suffered any other form of damage • If faults have arisen because of faults in your electricity supply. VOR DEM ERSTMALIGEN GEBRAUCH • Samtliche Verpackungsmaterialien im Gerat und darum herum entfernen. • Oberflachen mit einem feuchten Tuch innen und au.en abwischen und das Gerat trocknen lassen. • Das Kabel vollstandig entrollen. ANWENDUNG 1. Stecken Sie den Stecker (6) in die Steckdose und schalten Sie den Strom ein. 2. Den Deckel (2) offnen und etwas Fett auf die Heizplatte des Unterteils (8) geben. Schlie.en Sie den Deckel wieder. 3. Den Drehschalter (5) auf die gewunschte Heizstufe (1-6) einstellen. Die rote Kontrolllampe (3) leuchtet und das Gerat beginnt mit dem Aufheizen. 4. Nach ca. 5 Minuten erlischt die rote Kontrolllampe und die grune (4) leuchtet stattdessen. Das bedeutet, dass das Gerat einsatzbereit ist. 5. Den Deckel offnen, eine Portion Waffelteig auf die Heizplatte des Unterteils geben und den Deckel schlie.en. o Vorsichtig zu Werke gehen und nicht zuviel Teig einfullen, damit nichts uber den Rand der Heizplatte hinauslauft. 6. Die grune Kontrolllampe erlischt, die rote leuchtet erneut, und das Backen der Waffel beginnt. 7. Wenn die rote Kontrolllampe erlischt und die grune aufleuchtet, ist die Waffel fertig gebacken. Den Deckel offnen und die fertige Waffel mit einem holzernen Pfannenmesser o. A. herausnehmen. Keinesfalls Metallgegenstande verwenden, da diese die Antihaftbeschichtung beschadigen konnten. 8.
