Do not slide recipients over the glass as they may scratch it. Similarly, do not drop hard or sharp objects onto the glass. Avoid Knocking any part of the edge of the cooking plate. Grains of sand, which may, for example, come from cleaning vegetables, can scratch the glass surface. Clean the surface of the heating elements once they have cooled down, each time they are used.
