Safeguard them for future reference. • Only connect it to the voltage stated on the characteristics plate. • The use of an earthed socket is recommended. • Do not plug the appliance into the mains supply until it has been assembled correctly. • The On/Off switch must be in the “0” position when plugging it in or unplugging it. • NEVER PLACE THE APPLIANCE CLOSE TO THE BATH, SHOWER OR SWIMMING POOL • NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. • Suitable for use in dry surroundings. Avoid using it in damp locations such as bathrooms, etc. • Do not handle the appliance with wet hands. • Do not operate the appliance with the cable still coiled. • Place the fan away from any objects that could get inside the grille. Keep it clear of pull-cords, plants, etc. • Do not place the fan close to naked flames, ovens or heating appliances. • Do not plug this appliance into external speed control devices. • Keep an eye on the appliance while it is running, especially when children are about. • Unplug the appliance from the mains when it is not in use • Never unplug it by tugging on the mains cable. • Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains before cleaning it. • Do not switch the appliance on if the cable or plug are damaged or if you suspect that the appliance is not working correctly • Cable repairs and replacements must be carried out exclusively by an Authorised Technical Service Centre. ASSEMBLING THE BASE (Tabletop fans) • Slot the base (11) on to the body of the fan and fit the support ring (12). (Fig. 1). ASSEMBLING THE TELESCOPIC STAND (Pedestal fan) • Fit the support feet (19) into the support legs (18). To make this easier, open the leg slightly as shown in figure 2. • Fit the two base legs (18) to form a cross-shape. • Screw the legs (18) to the base section (17) using the four screws supplied. (Fig. 3). NOTAS IMPORTANTES • Lea detenidamente estas instrucciones. Conservelas para futuras consultas. • Conectese unicamente a la tension indicada en la placa de caracteristicas. • Es recomendable un enchufe con toma de tierra. • Conecte el aparato a la red solo cuando se encuentre correctamente ensamblado. • Tanto al introducir como al sacar la clavija del enchufe, el interruptor debe estar en la posicion “0”. • NO COLOCAR EL APARATO CERCA DE LA BANERA, DUCHA O PISCINA. • NO SUMERGIR EL APARATO EN AGUA O CUALQUIER OTRO LIQUIDO. • Hagalo funcionar en ambientes secos. Evite los espacios con humedad como cuartos de bano, etc. • No manipule el aparato con las manos mojadas. • No haga funcionar el aparato con el cable enrollado. • Situe el ventilador alejado de objetos que puedan introducirse en las rejillas. Mantengalo separado de cordones de cortinas, plantas, etc. • No coloque el ventilador cerca de llamas encendidas, cocinas o aparatos de calefaccion. • No conecte este aparato a dispositivos externos de regulacion de velocidad. • Vigile el funcionamiento del aparato, especialmente cuando se utiliza cerca de los ninos. • Desconecte el aparato de la red cuando no lo use. • No desconecte nunca tirando del cable. • Antes de su limpieza, compruebe que el aparato se encuentra desconectado. • No lo ponga en funcionamiento si el cordon o el enchufe estan danados o si observa que el aparato no funciona correctamente. • Las reparaciones y cambios de cable deben ser realizados exclusivamente por un Servicio Tecnico Autorizado. MONTAJE DE LA BASE (Ventiladores de sobremesa) • Encaje la base (11) al cuerpo del ventilador y fijela el aro de sujecion (12). (Fig. 1). MONTAJE DEL PIE TELESCOPICO (Ventilador de pie) • Coloque los pies de apoyo (19) en las patas de la base (18). Para facilitar el anclaje, abra ligeramente la pata como muestra la figura 2. • Encaje las dos patas de la base (18) formando un aspa. • Atornille las patas(18) a la pieza base (17) mediante los cuatro tornillos suministrados. (Fig. 3). • Desenrosque la tuerca de fijacion de altura (15) e introduzca el embellecedor (16) (Fig. 4). Vuelva a colocar la tuerca de fijacion de altura. • Extraiga el tubo telescopico (14) hasta la altura deseada y ajustelo mediante la tuerca de fijacion (15) .(Fig. 5). • Monte el cuerpo del ventilador sobre el pie y apriete el tornillo de fijacion al tubo (13). (Fig. 6). MONTAJE DE LAS ASPAS • Compruebe que el ventilador esta desconectado de la red electrica. Deseche el tubo de plastico que protege el eje del motor. • Para colocar la rejilla posterior (5), haga coincidir los orificios con las patillas y sujetela mediante el aro de plastico (4). • Coloque las aspas (3) del ventilador en el eje motor (6) (Fig. 7).
