Facilité d'utilisation

The model BCLSM charger will charge virtually all 3.6 to 7.4Volt Li-Ion batteries,as well as, one or two AA or AAA size NiMH / NiCd type rechargeable batteries. It's unique and patented contact system allows for this one charger to connect to and charge virtually any shape battery regardless of the type of contacts or their location on the battery without the need for any additional adapter plates. Extremely compact and light weight, this is the ultimate charger for travel. This charger will operate from a standard household 100-240VAC outlet at home or across the sea, or on the road from a 12 Volt cigarette lighter socket. It is a complete, convenient system to charge almost any of your rechargeable batteries. FEATURES • Compatible with most 3.6-7.4V digital camera, camcorder& mobile phone Li-ion batteries • Microprocessor controlled design identifies 3.6-3.7V/7.2-7.4V Li-Ion batteries and 1.2V NiMh/NiCd cellsand their polarity, and adjusts the charge automatically. • Separate fastand trickle charge modes ensure the batteries are charged quickly and accurately. • Built-in low-voltage battery"jump start"charge. • Safety features include over-voltage, short-circuit, reverse polarity and maximum time protections as well as defective battery detection. OVERVIEW The package includes the charger unit, AC power adapter, 12V auto power adapter, and a contact adjusting stylus. On the charger unit, the front top portion (or "Slide") is spring loaded and slides out to allow the inserting of a battery to be charged (see fig-1). Releasing the slide will then grip the battery and hold it securely while adjusting the contacts or during charging. AA and AAA rechargeable batteries fit in either or both of the two recesses located on either side of the slot down the middle (see fig-2). All other batteries will use the two moveable contacts located in the center ofthe unit (fig-3). Using the Charger CHOOSE YOUR POWER SOURCE Choose the proper adapter for either AC household current or 12VDC car cigarette lighter adapter. Plug the selected power adapter into the power source and plug the connector at the end of the cord into the charger's power input jack. The Red power indicator LED will now be on showing it is receiving power. Note: If you are using the 12V power adapter in a vehicle, the vehicle's power socket will usually not have the power turned on until the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position. ADJUSTING THE CONTACTS FOR YOUR BATTERY The contacts on the charger must be properly adjusted to line up with the contacts on the battery before charging can take place. You must align the two contacts on the charger to the two contacts on the battery marked "+" and "-".There may be additional contacts on some batteries, which must not be connected to. Only connect to the "+"and contacts on any battery. Connecting to the wrong contacts may damage the battery and/or the charger. Adjusting the moveable contacts on the charger should be done with the "contact adjusting stylus"and not with yourfingers as this will avoid getting oils from your fingers on the contacts and possibly interfering with making good connection with the battery(see fig-4). It does not matter which contact on the charger connects to the "+" or contact on the battery as the polarity sensing function on the charger will adjust automatically. AA / AAA NI-MH / NI-CD CELLS (see fig-5) If you are charging AA or AAA cells, no contact adjustments are necessary. While gripping the top half ofthe charger unit, pull the slide outfarenough to allow the battery fit into either of the two recesses and insert one or two cells noting the battery direction indicated on the charger. Slowly release the slide until it makes contact with the bottom ofthe cell(s) being charged. You must charge only AA or AAA cells at one time. Do not attempt to mix different size or capacity cells when charging. BATTERIES WITH BOTTOM CONTACTS (see fig-6) Pull the slide open and insert the battery so the battery is on its end sticking straight up off the charger unit with the battery contacts facing and near to, but not touching the charger's moveable contacts. Using the stylus, position each of the two contacts to properly align with the battery contacts. Once the charger's contacts are aligned, open the slide and reposition the battery to lie on top of the charger's contacts, pressing the battery fully down onto the charger. While pressing down on the battery, release the slide so that the charger is grips the batteryand holds it in position. CAUTION: • Do not overcharge the batteries. • Do not leave batteries in charger for extended periods oftime (morethan 1-2 days) • Do not leave batteries connected to the charger when the charger is not plugged in. • Unplug the charger when not in use. • Charger unit is for indoor use only. • This charger is intended for use with Li-Ion, NiMH or NiCd type batteries only. Attempting to charge any other type of battery may cause damag...
