WPA2 is backward compatible with WPA. Make sure the WIRELESS indicator light turns on. ! 5 GHz band wireless LAN communications, available on selected models only, are disabled by default. To enable 5 GHz band communication, you need to select the option to use the 5 GHz band or both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands from the drop-down list for Wireless LAN Settings in the VAIO Smart Network settings window. 5 Click or on the taskbar. 6 Select the desired access point and click Connect. To insert a SIM card 1 Turn off your computer. 2 Open the SIM card cover on the bottom of the computer. Slide the SIM card holder in the direction of the arrow (2) and then lift the holder. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder with its printed circuit side up. Using Your VAIO Computer > Using the Wireless WAN n 77 N Close the SIM card holder and then slide the holder in the direction of the arrow (3). ! Do not touch the printed circuit on the SIM card. Be sure to hold your computer firmly before inserting or removing the card. Do not damage the SIM card in any way, either by bending or exerting pressure on the card. Close the SIM card cover.
