2Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. 3When installation is complete, follow the on-screen instructions in the Synchronisation Setup Wizard to connect your device to the computer and create a data sharing partnership. Connect your device to a computer 1Tap Start > Settings. 2On the Basic Settings tab, tap General Settings > USB Connection > ActiveSync. 3Tap Done. 4Connect one end (mini-USB) of the PC data cable to the multifunction jack on your device and the other end to the USB port on your computer. Add an Exchange server 1Tap Start > ActiveSync. 2Tap Menu > Add Server Source... 3Enter an email address. 4Tap Next. 5Enter your Exchange user name, password, and domain name. 6Tap Next. 7Enter a server address. To establish a secure connection, tap the check box that reads This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection. 8Tap Next. 9Select the types of data to synchronise. 10When you are finished, tap Finish. Change the synchronisation schedule 1Tap Start > ActiveSync. 2Tap Menu > Schedule... 3Set the following options: •Peak times: set the frequency of synchronisations during peak hours •Off-peak times: set the frequency of synchronisations during off-peak hours •Use above settings when roaming: set to use the synchronisation schedules even when roaming •Send/receive when I click Send: set to synchronise when you tap Send in Messaging 4When you are finished, tap OK. Clock Set an alarm 1Tap Start > Clock. 2On the Alarm tab, tap New. 3Set the alarm options. 4When you are finished, tap Done. Stop an alarm Schedule an anniversary 1Tap Start > Clock. 2On the Anniversary tab, tap New. 3Set the anniversary options. 4When you are finished, tap Done. Create a world clock 1Tap Start > Clock. 2On the World Clock tab, tap New. 3Tap to open a list of cities. 4Tap a city. 5Tap Done. 6Tap Set as Home Clock to reset the time zone (if necessary). 7Tap Done. Use the stopwatch 1Tap Start > Clock. 2On the Stop watch tab, tap Start. 3Tap Lap to record lap times. 4When you are finished, tap Stop. 5Tap Reset to clear the recorded times. Schedule Create a calendar event 1Tap Start > Schedule. 2Tap New. 3Complete the fields and adjust the settings for your event. 4When you are finished, tap Done. Change the calendar view 1Tap Start > Schedule. 2Tap a tab to change the calendar view: Stop an event reminder Notes Create a note 1Tap Start > Notes. 2Tap New to create a new note (if necessary). 3Enter your note with the input panel. •To create sketches .. Listen to a voice memo 1Tap Start > Voice Recorder. 2Tap a memo.
