The green light of the button will stop flashing and remain lit. If you have selected a delay time, the countdown will begin and will be shown on the display. • Pause: when you press this button again, the programme in progress is interrupted. The light of the button will start flashing. To restart the programme from the point at which it was interrupted, press the button again. Important! You must set the washer-dryer to Pause before you make any change in the programme in progress. 9 Door lock light After you have started the programme, the Door lock light illuminates to indicate that the machine starts working and the door is locked. This light is also on during the countdown of the delay start. This light indicates if the door can be opened: • light on: the door cannot be opened. The appliance is operating or there is water left in the tub. Attention! If the door is locked do not try to open or force it! • light off: the door can be opened. The washing programme has finished. 10 “Delay start” button This button enables you to delay the starting of the programme for 30 min - 60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour increments up to a maximum of 20 hours. The delay you have selected is shown on the display for about a few seconds; afterwards, the duration of the programme reappears. You must select this option after you have set the programme and before you press the “Start/Pause” button. 13 The time value shown on the display will decrease by one unit every hour. You can change the delay time at any moment, before you press the “Start/Pause” button. If you have already pressed the “Start/Pause” button, and you wish to cancel the delay time, proceed as follows: • Set the machine to PAUSE by pressing the “Start/Pause” button; • Press the “Delay start” button until the symbol “0 00’ ’’ ” is displayed. • Press the “Start/Pause” button again. Important! The “Delay start” cannot be used with “Drain”programme. Note! The door will be locked throughout the delay time. If you need to open the door, you must first set the washer-dryer to Pause by pressing the “Start/Pause” button. After you have closed the door, press the “Start/Pause” button again. 11 Display (Programme time) The following pieces of information are shown on the display: • Duration of washing programme in hours and minutes, after you have selected a programme (for example 2.05). The duration is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum recommended load for each type of fabric. While the programme is running, the displayed time value decreases by one unit every minute. • The washer-dryer has stopped with water in the tub, if the “Rinse hold” option has been selected: this is indicated by a flashing zero. The Door lock light is still on and the door is still locked. • The washer-dryer has completed the programme: this is indicated by a flashing zero. The Door lock light has gone off. It is now possible to open the door. After starting the programme, the remaining time is updated every minute. Stand-by If your laundry is not removed within 10 minutes after the programme has finished, the backlight of the display switches off and the energy saving system will be enabled. Only the pilot light of the Start Pause button is blinking to indicate that the appliance has to be switched off. By pressing any button the appliance will come out from the energy saving status and you could set another washing programme or switch off the appliance. 14 • Selection of drying time in minutes . • An alarm code indicates a fault in the machine operation (see page 29, "Something Not Working") After starting the programme, the remaining time is updated every minute. Important! If you select a drying time longer than 55 minutes, after a few seconds, the display will show it in hours and minutes. • Delay start, a time value indicated in hours (20 hours max) and selected by means of the relevant button. The delay time is displayed for a few seconds, then the duration of the selected programme reappears. After you have pressed the Start/Pause button, the countdown is updated every hour, and, for the last hour, every minute. • An incorrect option selection has been made: this is indicated by the message Err when a function incompatible with the current programme is selected. 15 Programme information Easy iron 40° This programme at 40°C reduces creasing on synthetic garments and therefore reduces the amount of ironing required.
