Description
QXCR1000799018 Fixed an issue which caused system dump failure to an fclp attached device, if base page size
was set to a value other than 4 KB.
QXCR1000753480 Long hardware path from AD221A (PCIe 1 port 4Gb FC and 1 port GigE HBA) card not
recognized by vparmodify. The workaround for this issue is located at this address:http://
docs.hp.com/en/T1335-90091/ar01s05.html

Known problems and limitations
This section provides a list of known problems and limitations as known to HP at time of publication.
If workarounds are available, they are included.
•
VFC deletion time
While executing “hpvmstop” command the time taken to delete a single Integrity VM VFC or
Flex FC VFC depends on total number of targets mapped to the VFC. Each target node port
deletion takes approximately 2 seconds. The greater the number of targets, the higher the
time taken for total target deletion.
•
Incorrect speed display
With vPars and Integrity VM 6.2 and earlier, if vPar or a VM Guest is configured with NPIV
VFCs on a 16Gb adapter, the FC Provider enumeration of NPIV VFC ports within the vPar or
VM guest will display “MaxSpeed” and “Speed” values as 0.
This issue is seen on vPars and Integrity VM versions 6.2 or earlier.

Private Loop and Public Loop topology configuration support for Fibre Channel mezzanine
adapters
Private Loop and Public Loop topology configurations are not supported for Fibre Channel
mezzanine adapters on HP Integrity Blade servers in combination with the Fibre Channel (FC)
Pass Thru I/O Interconnect modules. These configurations can result in servers losing connection
to the Storage Area Network (SAN) during mezzanine adapter initialization, and SAN boot
may fail in such configurations.
It is strongly recommended that customers not use loop topology configurations for mezzanine
adapters in conjunction with FC Pass Thru I/O interconnect modules. Customers are advised
to use Point-to-Point Fabric topology configuration with mezzanine adapters.
For additional information, please refer to HP Customer Advisory Document ID c02985353.

I/O traffic does not resume after Fibre Channel (FC) cable is disconnected and reconnected in
Loop Topology
In a private loop topology configuration, I/O traffic does not resume after Fibre Channel (FC)
cable is disconnected and reconnected. The application may hang or issue timeout warnings.
It is recommended that customers upgrade the firmware of part numbers AD221A and AD299A
to firmware version 2.82X4 SLI-3 (Z3 D 2.82X4) and part numbers AD222A, AD355A and
AD393A to firmware version 2.82X4 SLI-3 (Z3 F 2.82X4) or later.
For additional information, please refer to HP Customer Advisory Document ID c03064784.
