What is new in this release
The following information describes the updates to the HP-UX-based Gigabit ethernet driver called
igelan. The GigEther-01 software bundle, which is loaded into the operating environment (OE),
contains the igelan driver.
The May 2011 version of the HP-UX 11i v2 GigEther-01 software bundle contains the following
defect fix:

When heavy traffic is run on a TSO enabled igelan interface, system panic
is reported. This problem occurs with GigEther-01 B.11.23.1009. This
issue is fixed.
The May 2011 version of the HP-UX 11i v3 GigEther-01 software bundle contains the following
defect fix:

When heavy traffic is run on a TSO enabled igelan interface, system panic
is reported. This problem occurs with GigEther-01 B.11.31.1009. This
issue is fixed.
The May 2011 version of the HP-UX 11i v3 GigEther-01 software bundle contains the following
enhancement:
The nwmgr_igelan(1m) manpage is modified to include the newly introduced attribute, ifadmin.
PHNE_41971 of nwmgr(1m) introduces this new feature.
